Company History
Meritech was established in 2003 as a software consultancy providing custom diagnostic tools to wireless vendors in Japan. The founders, Brett Maurer and Harish Sachdeva, endeavored to build a world class software firm that creates innovative products using wireless technologies. As the years progressed, Meritech gained a reputation as a dependable software systems integrator with a unique blend of wireless expertise and software development capabilities. Today, Meritech is privileged to serve many of Japan’s leading wireless companies.

During its first year of operation, Meritech established a development center in India to support growing business activities. In 2005, the company launched its first product called iSite WiFi enabling survey and design of 802.11 networks. Meritech continued to focus on wireless network diagnostic tools with the launch of iSite RFID and iNET GSM-UMTS in 2006. In 2007, Meritech launched trials of a cutting edge location tracking system named iPoint RTLS that utilized WLAN networks to track hundreds of asset tags. In 2008, Meritech began developing Smartphone applications for Windows Mobile and Symbian devices. Today, Meritech continues to extend its expertise creating applications for Android and iPhone devices.

Brett Maurer
CEO and Cofounder
Brett Maurer has over 16 years of experience developing engineering software and wireless communications systems. Before starting Meritech, Brett was the Director of Engineering at Metatron Technologies where he led teams to create WCDMA and PDC test tools. Prior to Metatron, Brett worked at LCC International as an applications engineer guiding product functionality and design. Brett holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University.
Harish Sachdeva
COO and Cofounder
Harish Sachdeva has over 14 years of experience in product management and sales. Before starting Meritech, Harish led sales initiatives at Metatron Technologies for customers including J-Phone, TuKa Cellular, and NEC. Prior to Metatron, Harish developed real-time imaging applications for Nihon Kohden Corporation. Harish holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and an Master's degree in Computer Science.
Arif Eqbal
Project Manager
Arif Eqbal has over 9 years of experience designing software and leading engineering teams. Before joining Meritech, Arif lead software engineering activities at Impetus Infotech. Before that, he was an analyst at Verizon Data Services and project engineer at the Center for Development of Advanced Computing. Arif has an engineering degree in Electronics and Communications.
